Well..
the Christmas tree is up and in the corner...tho' it has no decorations on it just yet. My No1 daughter will be down tonight to make it look all pretty.
Yet another visit to the charity shop yesterday where I managed to get a single quilt cover, and a pair of curtains, made by Marks & Spencer. They are a very nice deep blue with embroidery on them.
I'm prewashing them now to make sure that there's no colour-bleed. Also, when they are washed, dried and pressed I can hang them over a coat-hanger and put them into my 'sewing' wardrobe...
I'm building up quite a collection of different fabrics, different colours. I'm actually quite pleased with myself.
Saturday, I shall be visiting oyr local market and hopefully find the stall that was there last Saturday. I got some gorgeous material, at £1 per metre..How cool is that !
So cheap, and brand new !!
